Thunk Comic Strip
Thunk is a character first created on a Play-By-Post game on the Hive Keychain. Thunkgaria is based upon that character and the companions he accumulated along the way. Thunk is a very large barbarian with proportionality matching muscles, loyalty and kind-heartedness. Unfortunately the same can not be said for his intelligence. Thunk was well known for his enthusiastic “thunk” on the shoulder of a nearby companion when it took a defeating blow. Regrettably this was often painful to his friends. Thunk’s adventures allowed him to meet many companions and create incredible bonds, some short lived…literally, and others that remain in place even today.
Quaid is played by @sidekickmatt, also known as Matt S. Law (IRL) who describes himself as “Actor, Artist, Gamer & Comic Guy”. This Comic Strip section is provided by Matt and depicts the story of Thunk & his friends from start to present.

F.A.Q.'s
Here are some of the most common questions heroes have for Thunk.
Head to the tavern to recruit some heroes. As a new adventurer Thunk has granted you 3 heroes and 1 Relic. Choose wisely.
You will start with three basic heroes of your choice from the tavern. Go solo if you dare, but my advice is to use all 3. You can also place 3 heroes in the arena, or if you think you’re tough enough go ahead and put in only one. Idle recruits will sit by the campfire waiting their turn to have some fun. You will need to prove yourself and gain fame in the Arena to recruit more heroes. Thunkgaria allows you to have up to 16 heroes. But you have to earn them!
You need to gain some fame before they will leave the comfort of the tavern to join you. Fight in the arena to gain fame. If you are losing too often head out to the dungeons to find some better gear.
When defeated in a dungeon your unconscious heroes will be carried back to camp. My workers won’t carry back your loot for you. If you have a bag full it will be left behind for some other scavengers to find. All loot will be lost, but the items you are wearing will remain.
Some monsters tend to stay in certain areas; frogs like the swamps. But others tend to wander anywhere they please. There are Goblin Hunting Parties that roam around looking for food. There are also a few dragons on the island. Don’t be surprised if you go hunting frog legs in the swamp and there is a dragon snacking on alligators.
You may choose to leave a dungeon and return to camp at any time. This is a good time to evaluate your items and store them for later.
No, not always. Equip your heroes with a bit more strategy in mind. The strongest sword may be useless against certain monsters. Variety may be the answer to that dungeon you can’t seem to finish.
Yes! And you never know when you may encounter one. Stories tell of young dragons hunting swamp creatures. Don’t be surprised if you go hunting frog legs and there is a dragon snacking on alligators. Many heroes report seeing a huge shadow as one flies overhead. Be careful out there!
Some monsters tend to stay in certain areas; frogs like the swamps. But others tend to wander anywhere they please. There are Goblin Hunting Parties that roam around looking for food. There are also a few dragons on the island. Skeletons have been seen walking around as well as some other undead creatures. I’m sure there are many others yet to be found.
